אבי טולדנו
Born in Meknes in Morocco April 4, 1948, Avraham (Avi) Toledano arrived in Israel at the age of 16, signing his first recording contract with EMI Records in the same year.
Avi Toledano has 21 records and several top hits to his name. He performed at Madison Square Garden in New York, the Olympia in Paris, and Tokyo's Music Festival of Songs
In 1982 he represented Israel at the Eurovision Song contest, taking 2nd place with the song "Hora".
A year later, he composed and produced the song "Chai" for Ofra Haza which also finished 2nd at Eurovision.
Toledano has staged several "one-man-shows" such as "La Boheme" based on Charles Aznavour's song "Identitiy Card" which was based on the story of his life. He also played the role of Marius in a theatre production of "Les Miserables".
