The Trio
There are several bands called "The Trio":
(1) An jazz trio formed by John Surman (saxophone, clarinet), Barre Phillips (bass), Stu Martin (drums), having recorded at least three albums from 1970 til 1987. This unit became one of the busiest and musically vital groups on the European circuit.
(2) The Trio are a sit-down band from Italy. Their most well-known songs include Olmedo Blues, Il Blues della Morte, and several cover numbers like Coco Y Ron and the medley Hit the Road Jack (Godfather, Solo me ne vo). Their last performance was a cover of Long Tall Sally under the name of Three gods' Night. Their material has always been and still is available in the net for free.
(3) The Trio are a croatian hard rock band.
(4) The Trio was a Southern Gospel group formed by Kirk Talley, Ivan Parker and pianist Anthony Burger.
