少女隊
Shojotai is a Japanese pop group.
Shojotai debuted in 1984 with the album "Shojotaiphoon" and the single "Forever ~Gingam Check Story~." The line up featured members Aida Miho, Yasuhara Reiko and Ichikawa Chiiko. Chiiko retired on August 8, 1985, the release date of their appropriately titled single "Bye Bye Girl." In comes Hikita Tomoko to replace Chiiko. They record the single "Halley Romance" (released November 27, 1985) and the Shojotai Mk II line-up of Miho, Reiko and Tomoko was born. With the 1987 single "Sakamasa", Shojotai took a risk and fused their idol style with Eurobeat which paid off as it was considered innovative at the time. They continue into 1989 until calling it quits, but return one last time in 1999 to record the album "Juubeichan ~Lovely Gantai no Himitsu" and a new version of their debut single "Forever."
