유희열
Yoo Hee-Yeol (born 19.04.1970) is a signer song writer and a composer currently working under the moniker of "Toy", his project band.
Yoo Heel Yeol has so far released three albums with his own name, a short piece contemporary classical album "익숙한 그집앞/ At the Gate of that Familar House" in 2000, an electronic lounge compilation "Walk Around the Corner" in 2002 and a modern rock and instrumental compilation "여름날/ Summer Days" in 2008.
He has began composing in the late 80's, the first work being his fellow high school band mate Kim Jang Hoon's first album "A Day Filled with Sunshine" which was released in 1989. He began his music career after winning the first prize in "Yoo Jae Ha Music Contest '92" with a song "The Song of Monnlight" while studying music at the Seoul National University.
He soon met Yoon Jung O and released the first album as Toy. With the Yoon's pursuit for studies in overseas, "Toy" lasted as a duo for a couple of years. Yoo Hee Yeol, from the second album and on, has claimed the band "Toy" to be a project group. Read more on Last.fm.
