ダウト
ダウト is a rock band in the visual kei movement, formed on December 24th, 2006 in Japan. They were formerly known in Japan as D=OUT. However, D=OUT is their current name for European market.
ダウト currently have five members, 幸樹 (Kouki) on vocals, ひヵる (Hikaru) and 威吹 (Ibuki) on guitars, 玲夏 (Reika) on bass and 直人 (Naoto) on drums. Previously ミナセ (Minase) on drums. Currently signed to JAPAN RECORD (Tokuma Japan Communications).
Their first song "Flashback" was released as a free single on April 3, 2007. They later released a single, Heisei Bubble, in five types.
In October, ダウト was signed to the Indies label SPEED-DISK and released their 2nd single "白旗宣言" (Shirohata Sengen). The following single, "ばら色ノ人生" (Bara iro no jinsei) was out on December 19.
In 2008, ダウト got signed in Europe by CLJ Records which released their 1st studio album "ZIPANG" all over Europe.
On July 22, 2009, ダウト had a compilation cover album released, "登龍門" including covers of 8 popular Japanese songs from the years 1950-1990.
Later in 2009, ダウト was showing their interest in overseas shows and was doing their 1st oneman-tour in Europe. They performed in Spain, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
On March 3, 2010, their 2nd studio album, entitled "CARNIVAL浮世" (CARNIVAL Ukiyo) was released in Japan. The album was delayed in Europe, but was successfully released all over Europe on April 30.
In late May, ダウト travelled back to Europe for their 2nd European oneman tour. They performed successfully in Finland, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands and France.
On June 13th and 14th, ダウト visited Seoul, South Korea for their two-man show together with ケミカルピクチャーズ.
In summer 2010, ダウト announced that they was leaving their current record label and management SPEED-DISK, and would be moving to their new management Indies-PSC, subdivision of PS COMPANY releasing their music on Indie-PSC.
On September 9, their first single entitled "サイケデリコ∞サイケデリコ" (Psychedelico∞Psychedelico) was released.
Since 2011 they are signed to the major label JAPAN RECORD at Tokuma Japan Communications.
In March 2014, ミナセ (Minase) announced that he would depart from the band later in the year due to family business issues. His graduation was held on September 23rd at Shibuya Koukaidou.
