Соломенные Еноты
Соломенные Еноты (Solomennye Enoty; "Straw Raccoons") was a Russian underground band from Moscow, existed from early 90s to late 00s. It is characterized with amateurish, sometimes unlistenable poor lo-fi production, and weird and involute, both surrealistic and social lyrics by Boris Usov, notorious alcoholic poet from Konkovo District of Moscow, who can't decide which of two is dearer to him - Kate Winslet or bottle of booze, and friends with Siamese bear, who salutes Boris with Marsian smile. Being highly influenced by Siberian punk in their early years, playing noisy punk (which sometimes sounded like black metal), they later evolute to their own style, which can be described as primitivist indie pop. To be honest, apart from lyrics, there is nothing to listen here. So, if you don't know Russian, you can surely pass this band. Otherwise - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxfymzNonNI.
