76% Uncertain
76% Uncertain is a Connecticut hardcore band formed in 1983 by members of two other bands: CIA and Reflex From Pain. Early in 1984 the band released their first album, "Estimated Monkey Time".
1986 (?) brought the release of "Nothing But Love Songs". At this time, a line-up change also happened. Mike Spadaccini was added as the third guitarist, and William Knapp left to work on other musical projects, and Chip Moody took over the task of drumming.
The third album, "Hunka Hunka Burnin Log" was released in 1989, with William back on drums. Shortly after its release, Mike left the band. Taking his place was Jeff Roberts.
After a bad record deal, the band decided to call it quits before the 80's ended.
Some of us were in other bands after the breakup: Onion, Shyster Shyster and Flywheel, freakbaby, and The Hat City Intuitive, to name a few. We all kept in touch...some more than others...but we never thought we would play together as a band again.
On 1997, after Jeff Roberts death in a tragic car accident, the band put themselves back together to play a series of benefits to raise money for his wife and kids. Five years later, the band returned to activity. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
