Alex Vargas
Alexander Vargas Blay, better known as Alex Vargas, is a singer and songwriter born on 17 February 1988 in Hørsholm, Denmark to a Danish/English mother and a Uruguayan father.
Aged 15 and still going by his full name, he released his debut album, Rookie, in 2003. In 2005, he relocated to London to pursue his musical career. Here, he was signed to Geffen Records and formed the band Vagabond. In 2010, Alex Vargas disbanded Vagabond to pursue a solo career.
In 2013, Alex Vargas released the mini-album Howl on Tiger Music. The same year, he also co-wrote and featured on 5 songs from English trance band Above & Beyond's fourth studio album, We Are All We Need.
In 2014, Alex Vargas signed with Copenhagen Records. His first release on Copenhagen Records was the standalone single "Till Forever Runs Out", which was followed by the EP Giving Up the Ghost in 2016.
