Altocamet
Argentinean five-piece techno/pop project Altocamet was formed in Mar del Plata in the late '90s by guitarist Adrián Valenzuela, singer Mariana Monjeau, percussionist Pedro Moscuzza, bass/guitar player Guillermo Piacenza, and bassist Rubén Kain. Focused on ambient, trip-hop, and drum'n'bass styles, the band's debut album, called Veladabristolcasino, was produced by Julián Sanza. In addition, AltoCamet participated in a Buenos Aliens compilation, followed by Nuovo Mondo and 2000's Viernes, released by Fénix Discos, with Charly García's "Viernes 3 A.M."
