Backyard Dog
Backyard Dog are the rough ragga and urban sound Likulloydi .MC/Sinjay said their name originated from an argument between himself and Anif producer kicked Lloydi out of the recording studio.Likulloydi kept exclaiming 'You can't treat me like that, you're treating me like a backyard dog' while trying to get back inside.
They describe themselves as "Raggalistic flavour fusion with a twist and a bend here and there. Loydi comes with a vocal style and versitility as he has an awesome range and can swittch from ruff ragga vocal to sweet almost agelic smooth tones .
Their debut album 'All in a Day' features collaborations with a variety of people including the late Kirsty MacColl, Steve Hillage, the Orb's Alex Paterson, the Beloved and Jeremy Healy's Easy Posse.
