Bad Grammar
Bad Grammar are Ben Forrester & Lucy Brown.
For a band built around the idea of slacker syntax, Bad Grammar rock a tight set. Following in the footsteps of their Mancunian pioneers before them, Bad Grammar channel the same grunge snarls as fellow Northerners Pulled Apart By Horses and dirge rock duo, Drenge.
Recent EP ‘Forced Fun’ fell into the hands of party punk king Andrew WK, who selected the band to perform as part of 2014's Y Not Festival. With lead single ‘Temper Temper’ clocking over 25,000 Vevo views, it’s not surprising the pair have already picked up coverage from XFM, 6Music and Radio 1, along with recent new music features in NME, Clash and Artrocker.
Kicking out witty commentary on metabolism breakdowns and pop culture 101, Bad Grammar are top of the class.
“A blend of grunge and punk reminiscent of Fugazi and Shellac that puts many of the current wave of musical duos to shame” - The Ruckus
“Guaranteed to get the music-bods talking with their gloriously grimy racket” - The Tipping Point
"Little more than drums, guitar, electricity and shouting, Bad Grammar’s frenzied live shows have cut a swath through venues across the land. The duo’s flair for fusing frenetic, blazing riffs to warped melody is entirely distinct." - Clash Magazine
Debut single Tie Or Die/Ace Adventura was released March 2013 with Gravy Records.
Forced Fun EP was released March 2014 with Flatpack Records.
New single 'Clown' due for release in February 2015 with Flatpack Records.
