Bernd das Brot
Bernd das Brot (German for Bernd the bread) is a character from a German tv-show for small kids. In fact, the show around Bernd has many jokes only for adults (Briegel imitating the Don, Situations imitating "King Kong", "Star Wars" or "Scream". Bernd is a cult figure with many adult fans in Germany, and has received much media attention. In 2004, Bernd das Brot won the Adolf-Grimme-Preis. In the evening, there aren't any shows at this program (nobody would watch just small kids and they sleep already) and so they show over and over again little clips with Bernd. The famoust clip is his song "Alle zusammen tanzt das Brot" (> All together, dance the bread),a none-sense song, but very funny. Read more on Last.fm.
