Bianca Rossini
Rio de Janeiro-born, Beverly Hills resident Bianca Rossini is a singer, songwriter, actress and author. Bianca has been performing and story telling since age 3. She came to the United States in her teens to further her studies as an artist and as a performer.
Growing up with international musical influences, Bianca always had a gift for creating impromptu lyrics and music.
Her debut bossa nova album "Kiss of Brasil" is available now, produced by Peter Roberts, featuring her original songs, co-written with great American and Brazilian composers.
Bianca has composed music for David Kelley’s programs Chicago Hope and The Sentinel. She has authored three books: Love in black and white (2009), a book of poems by Bianca with black and white photographs by Michael Kenna. A Brazilian Heart – Rubies, Murder, Love and Other Poems (2006), a bilingual poetry book with art by Carmem Gusmão and five other international artists. And Julia – Confessions of a Brazilian Super Model(2001), a semi-autobiographical novel about the scandalous world of European and American fashion modeling.
Bianca's TV and film credits include: The Sentinel, Martial Law, Diagnosis Murder, Chicago Hope, Matlock, One Life to Live, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Fast One, Bad Influence, The Fourth Tenor, Brainiacs, Mobsters, Moon Over Parador - Bianca also choreographed Moon Over Parador, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Sentinel.
For more than 10 years, she produced and hosted the weekly TV talk show The Bianca Rossini Show , which was critically acclaimed and brought to greater L.A. many of the most interesting personalities in entertainment, the arts, health and politics, including director Paul Mazursky, author and screenwriting guru Syd Field, attorney Gloria Allred, actor Dom DeLuise and numerous Brazillian stars including Chico Anysio and Dori Caymmi. The show was broadcast weekly on L.A. and Destin, Florida cable networks, and online.
Bianca attended the University of Maryland and George Washington University as a Dance and Theater Major and studied at the Washington School of Ballet and at studios in Rio, Brasilia, Paris and New York. Her Afro-Brazilian dance classes at the Voight Fitness Center and the Beverly Hills Fitness Club were widely acclaimed and attended by top industry professionals. Read more on Last.fm.
