Bleeding Nature
The Bleeding Nature duet started out in February, 2002 as a darkwave band but this situation didn’t last, as they set on a quest for new sound. As a result of these early experiments a mini-album was released by Neuropempire Records Moscow record label. Meanwhile, Bleeding Nature gave several concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg and supported stars of independent electronic music Melotron and Apoptygma Berzerk during their visits to Russia. Their compositions were on air of “Echo Moskvy” 91.2 radio project, they rang on gothic and synthpop dance-floors. But the newly released mini-album with synth/future pop sound didn’t satisfy the musicians and encouraged them to further continue their quest. As a result, the band completely abandoned sometime fascinating synthpop tunes and underwent a period of soul-searching to come back with fresh, “winter” musical concept. The Bleeding Nature sound became more melancholic and steady. During the first two autumn months Vasilets composed most of the tracks for what was to become their new album so the work on a new full-scale album commenced soon, while Russian leading Sojuz Music record label concluded a contract with the band.
