Candy 66
Candy 66 is a Venezuelan Alternative Metal Band that formed in Caracas in 1998. Their fame came to hand in 2000 when the Band won the Festival Nuevas Bandas (New Bands Festival) and began receiving a better exposure and winning fans in the Venezuelan metal scene.
Their influences comes from bands like Black Sabbath, Faith No More, Ozzy Osbourne, Sepultura, Pantera, Nirvana and others.
Candy 66 has received various nominations to the Metal Hecho en Venezuela awards (Venezuelan Made Metal) in the Alternative Metal Category and has shared Stage with important international acts like Korn, Slipknot and Papa Roach, besides having taken their music to international stages in countries like the United States and Colombia.
