Close Quarters
Close Quarters is a Swedish rock 'n' roll band that was formed in 2006 by Martin 'KK' Karlsson (lead guitar), Viktor Granlund (vocals and guitar) and David Svensson (drums and percussion). Rasmus Ejneberg joined the band on bass in late 2006, a couple of weeks before their first demo was recorded. In 2009 Rasmus left the band and was replaced by Martin Hederberg (bass and backing vocals). The band has recorded a couple of demos throughout the years; The Street Brawl EP (2007), Pleasure Under Pressure (2008), Untitled (2009) and Close Quarters (2010). They have recorded with the famous producer Tomas Skogsberg (The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies, Entombed, Dismember etc) in the notorious Sunlight Studio. The band has influnces from bands like Rolling Stones, early Kiss, AC/DC and The Hellacopters. Also they have shared the stage with Backyard Babies, Mustasch, Dia Psalma, Dundertåget, H.E.A.T. to name a few.
In March the band announced that they will record a new EP in May with Roberto Laghi, who has produced Hardcore Superstar, In Flames, The Haunted, Freak Kitchen etc.
