Cloud 69 is Laurent Véronnez, who is better known as Airwave. He credits the first release under this alias to "Larry Laffer" instead of himself, apparently because he didn't want to be directly associated with it. Larry Laffer is infact the name of the main character in Sierra's classic computer game "Leisure Suit Larry". Read more on Last.fm.
