Cruise Control
A jazz/funk quintet based in Pennsylvania, Cruise Control was formed in the summer of '05. The band consists of Lane Schneier (piano, keyboards), Sawyer Bernath (trumpet), Zach Drummond (saxophone), Adam Piacquad (bass guitar), and Pat Bailey (percussion). The band-members are all students at Pennsbury High School, where they are all involved in various music programs including classical performance, jazz performance, and theory. While they started primarily as a jazz group, Cruise Control is always experimenting in sub-genres such as funk, fusion, and rock. "Infectious keyboard tones, slick bass licks, funky drum grooves, and hypnotic horn lines are what makes this band so fun to listen to!", agrees the general public.
Cruise Control is also a rock band based in Oslo, Norway, formed in 2001, consisting of Marius Berntsen (guitar, vocals), Ulf Klemp (vocals, guitar), Bjarne Skadsem (bass, vocals), Espen Skare (drums, vocals) and Asbjørn Aaheim (keyboards, vocals).
