Djordje Marjanovic
Djodje Marjanovic (Đorđe Marjanović) Huge music star, an real pop-icon in late of 50's, 60's and later on, in former Yugoslavia (today Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Slovenia and Montenegro). Yet much greater music idol in Rusia and former USSR countries, where he was adored as a Godness.
First pop singer in Yugoslavia who danced on the stage in rock'n'roll behavior, jumping, rolling, acting dramaticaly in emotional songs etc. In the beginning he made mostly covers of world's most popular songs from USA and Italy, with lirycs translated in domestic language (Serbian, Serbo-Croatian). His every record was best seller on Yugoslavian market. The first singer in that area who made solo concerts, own full-time stage show, some times in series of 10-12 in row, day by day.
