Dysphemic
Dysphemic’s curiosity with electronic music began at the age of 10 when he experimented with Sound Tracker 2 on his family's 1984 Amiga Commodore computer.This same process of sequencing has carried through out his development of technique which can be described today as crushing the limits of electronic music.
Heavily influenced by Jungle and Drum and Bass, at the age of 15 Dysphemic produced his first 60 minute album. At age 17 he independently released his 2nd album, with a more hardcore sound ,entitled “decapitation”. He started playing at warehouse parties, including Sydneys “System Corrupt” events, and gained a name for himself for his brutal approach to constructing beats.
By the age of 19 Dysphemic had crafted his own unique style of composing breaks and released a 12”vinyl split with world renowned noise artist “passenger of shit” through the PainFreeFoundSoundInstitute record label. Dysphemic was distributed internationally by this label which brought him success in the international circuit.
Dysphemic completed a 60 min CD compromising of work from 2002-2007 entitled Corporate Warfare which was independently released.
Dysphemic's latest project Fire Bomb has just been independently released. Fire bomb is a cd of Dark Sci Fi Drum and Bass and stands alone as his most sonically evolved releases to date.
Other future projects include a 12” vinyl release entitled “Corporate Espionage Unit” due to be released by Shitwank records and distributed through Sound Base Records Germany and a 12" Vinyl split with American artist A Thousand Knives.
Dysphemic is also a member of the Australian Hiphop group Cyclones.
