Egon
There are at least four different artists with the name Egon.
1) One of them is the band Egon from Malmö, Sweden. The band plays music that they describe as a mix between fulpop ("ugly pop") and dumsynth ("stupid synth"). Egon released their first album Den Nya Kulan in 2003.
2) The second Egon was the general manager of Stones Throw Records. Beginning in 2000 he has overseen the business of the label as well as producing, among others, Stones Throw's The Funky 16 Corners, Stark Reality, and The Third Unheard reissues. Under his own name he has released Curse of the Evil Badger LP on Stones Throw. By night, he DJs and runs Stones Throw's subsidiary labels Now Again, and Soul Cal, which focus on funk and soul reissues.
3) The third is a young talented hip-hop underground producer from Katowice city in Poland.

4) The fourth is a now-defunct indie rock / emo band from El Paso, TX. The band broke up in December of 2005 and released 4 full-length albums.
