Endou Kenji
Endou Kenji is a fictional blues guitarist from Tokyo, Japan. Kenji got his start as a street performer in the late 1970's and early 1980's, drawing from a wide range of classic influences such as Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and T-Rex. After unsuccessfully attempting to break into Japan's music scene which was fast adapting to the new sound of the 80's Kenji took a break from the music industry to run his family's liquor store. Problems personal and political thrust him back into the music scene, with his nostalgic single "Bob Lennon" becoming popular among grassroots movements increasingly dissatisfied with authoritarian rule the world over. Kenji's low-key style and resolute delivery make him popular in his homeland Japan and the world over. Read more on Last.fm.
