Fast Animals and slow kids
Fast Animals and Slow Kids, often known by the acronym FASK, is an Italian alternative-rock band, that was founded in Perugia at the end of 2007.
It all started when four musicians and high school friends (Aimone Romizi, lead vocals, rhythm guitar and drums - Alessandro Guercini, lead guitar - Alessio Mingoli, drums and backing vocals - Jacopo Gigliotti, bass) decided to start a band in order to express their musical impulses and have some fun.
Between 2009 and 2010 the band recorded it's first EP "Questo è un cioccolatino" and opened several concerts for bands like Futureheads, Zen Circus, Il Teatro degli Orrori and Ministri. In 2010 they also participated to the contest "Italia Wave Love Festival" and won as best Italian emerging group.
In November 2011 they released their first album "Cavalli", produced by Andrea Appino (Zen Circus). The album allowed the band to gain a good reputation in the Italian independent music scene.
