Fred Chapellier born June 4, 1966 in Metz , began playing the guitar in 1981 . After a few years of training, he began to turn with his first blues band "Kashmir" (1992 to 1997) before forming the group "Men in Blue" with Big Joe Barret. But Fred feels the need to give expression freely to his music, thus in 1999 he decided to form his final group "Fred Chapellier Blues Band".

2011 is the year of the collaboration. Fred shared the stage with his friends and Neal Black Nico Wayne Toussaint for a series of concerts. The same year, Fred and his friend Tom Principato, guitarist Washington DC meet for a tour of 15 dates, which give birth to "live at home Paulette."
In February 2012, Fred participated in Memphis (Tennessee) , where he represented France at the International Blues Challenge. One hundred and fifty groups from around the world compete in clubs Beale street for 8 days. Fred goes to the semifinals.
