Georgi Sareski
Biography
Georgi Sareski is a composer, arranger and guitarist of contemporary music.
He creates and performs new and fresh music based on sincere emotions. He constantly promotes his music around the world, and collaborates with outstanding musicians from everywhere. Even though his professional career is only a couple of years old, he manages to gain more and more recognition from the ever growing world of contemporary music.
The critics have always given excellent reviews for his albums and performances. They have described his music as emotional, honest, and sublime, filled with sophistication and often with a great sense of humor.
Georgi Sareski graduated from Berklee College of Music as a scholarship student in 2005. He majored in Jazz Composition, thus he had the opportunity to study from some of the most amazing composers/professors in the world.
In 2004 he won the Berklee Achievement Scholarship Award, and in 2005 he won the 1st prize IAJE (International Association of Jazz Educators) award for his composition Memories, on the Massachusetts state competition. He also studied guitar with some of today’s most respected and influential educators such as David Tronzo Since 2005 he has released two albums of original music, one with his ensemble (Elflandia, 2005 Chicken Madness), and one with his sextet featuring Francesco Bearzatti (SoHoHo, 2006 Chicken Madness). Both are available world wide over the internet. His third album “Beyond the Year 2000” will be out in spring 2007.
From 2001 to 2005 Georgi lived in Boston, MA, and from 2005 to 2006 he lived in Bologna, Italy, Since May 2006 Georgi resides and works in Skopje, Macedonia from where he is active world-wide.
