Haiku Ambulance
Sludge pop duo from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brandon O'Brien and Colleen Hock played together in various bands since 2006 before starting Haiku Ambulance in 2009. They recorded their first set of demos in April of 2009, and then a self titled album in June 2009. Their influences include, but are not limited to Neil Young, Melvins, Sonic Youth, the Vaselines, Flipper, the Wipers, Meat Puppets, the Raincoats, Young Marble Giants, Scratch Acid, R.E.M., the B52s, Big Black, Beat Happening, Babes in Toyland, Breeders, the Pixies, Screaming Trees, DNA, Captain Beefheart, Black Sabbath, Syd Barrett, the Monks, Bikini Kill, Shocking Blue, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, Skip James, Leadbelly, Sun Ra, Miles Davis.
