Gaining notoriety largely through word of mouth, internet hype and extensive touring the quintet originally consisted of vocalists Robbie Smith and Matthew Caudle, guitarists Ryan Madden and Danny Rankin, and brothers Chris and Andrew Fritter (drums and bass, respectively).
Self releasing their 2004 EP Kids Kids Kids the band begun playing in their Northern California hometown.
The next year, gaining attention from local Twelve Gauge Records Heavy Heavy Low Low released Courtside Seats To The Greatest Fuck Of All Time. This album would feature the band's first single, "Inhalant Abuse Is Illegal And Can Be Fatal".
Signing with New Weathermen Records, a division of Ferret Music, in mid-2006 the band began work on their second full length. Released in September of 2006, Everything's Watched, Everyone's Watching featured a few old songs re-written and remastered, along with many newly written tracks.
In early 2007, the band's now out of print EP "Fuck It?!" was re-released via Ferret Music. Limited to 1,000 copies the EP featured numerous early recordings all from producer Sam Pura, including their single, "Tell Shannon Her Crafts Are Ready" and an exclusive B-Side track titled "Short Term Exposure, Long Term Damage".
Shortly before the release of their third full length the band put out a self titled EP in 2008 containing tracks off their Fuck It?! EP along with two new tracks from their upcoming album. Releasing Turtle Nipple & The Toxic Shock on August 19, 2008, the band parted ways with Ferret/New Weatherman Records and announced that they would resign with Twelve Gauge Records.
The band's last release was a five minute EP titled Hospital Bomber in August of 2010.
