Horde of Torment
THE HORDE OF TORMENT started in Jan 1987 in Las Vegas, NV under the name Pestilence.
They released their debut demo, "Infected", that same year.
In 1988, they recorded a 2nd demo called, "Product of a Sick Mind", while still in Las Vegas, NV.
The band relocated to the Bay Area, CA in Jan 1989.
They changed their name to THE HORDE OF TORMENT in 1989, and released the
"Product of a Sick Mind" demo under the new name.
They brought in a new drummer, Tim Vincent, and recorded/released another demo, "Inherit the Sin", in 1990.
The band played with many well known bands, such as Pantera, King Diamond, Forbidden, Vio-lence, Death, Dark Angel, Gwar, Mortal Sin, Sacred Reich, Death Angel, Defiance, Sadus, Mordred, Self-Abuse, Epidemic, and many others.
With no record label release, they band broke up in 1992. Founding guitarist, Ahrue Luster, went on play with Machine Head and Ill Nino.
Their manager, former Century Media President Marco Barbieri, will be releasing all 3 demos/videos, and possibly new recordings, thru his newly created label, M-Theory. The remastered CD is scheduled for mid 2009 with some possible reunion shows with the band. Read more on Last.fm.
