House of Wallenberg
Petter Wallenberg (born 1977 in Stockholm) is a Swedish music producer, song writer, author and artist. He uses the name House of Wallenberg for his musical releases which come out on his own label Mums Mums Records. He also directs his own music videos.
In 2011 he released his debut single "Legendary", featuring vocals from Swedish rap singer Leila K, which became a Scandinavian radio and club hit. The lyrics are based on a line from the famous 1991 documentary about the vogue scene of New York, Paris is Burning.
Wallenberg's second single, "Sunshine Taboo" was recorded with Ari Up of The Slits and released internationally on German label Permanent Vacation in 2012. The same year the EP Legends EP was released, which contained amongst others "Be My Lover", which featured Jwl B from Florida rappers Yo Majesty and "Girls Like Us" featuring Efti from "Midi, Maxi & Efti", that reached #28 on Finland Dance Music Chart. In March 2013 House of Wallenberg released the single "Be Somebody", featuring Octavia St. Laurent from the 1991 documentary about the vogue scene of New York, Paris is Burning. The video features a cast from the famous vogue houses of NYC, such as House of Ninja.
On the 17th of April 2013 House of Wallenberg will release the album Legends, which features the previously released singles alongside new collaborations with amongst others Neneh Cherry, Nicolette of Massive Attack fame, Yo Majesty and Victoria Wilson James från Soul II Soul.
