Howlin' Mad
A thrash metal band that formed in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany. They were originally called Insanity. It is not known when they formed. They changed their name to Howlin' Mad in 1989. The band consisted of Gerte Mad on vocals, Ralle Mad on guitars, Silvio Mad on guitars, Mirco Mad on bass and Olaf Mad on drums. They only released one full-length album called Insanity in 1990. Sabina Classen of Holy Moses makes a guest appearance on the album, she's on the song Drunk Till Emptiness. Their lyrical themes included politics, death and hate. They disbanded after their only full-length album and it is not known when they disbanded. The last label they were on was West Virginia Records. West Virginia Records released their only album.
