Hymns from Nineveh
Hymns from Nineveh is a solo project by Jonas Petersen who is the former songwriter and lead singer of the band Attrap. He has also played the cello for Lampshade and Munich. The music is folk with pop melodies while the lyrics are about the modern man’s restlessness and fear and about a longing hope for redemption.
In october 2007 he signed a record-deal with the danish indie label Good Tape Records. In december 2009 he released his first EP, Uncomplicated Christmassongs. The album was well received by the press and was hailed by the Danish music magazine Gaffa as 'the most beautiful christmas album since Songs For Christmas by Sufjan Stevens'.
