Inca Ore
Inca Ore is the solo output of Eva Saelens, currently based in Oakland, California, United States. Eva has been a member of numerous bands including Malibu Falcon and Jackie-O Motherfucker. She has collaborated with Yellow Swans (most notably on their 2005 album 'Psychic Seccesion') and Lemon Bear, with whom she has recorded a number of releases.
Her debut LP, Brute Nature Versus Wild Magic, was released on Weird Forest in 2005. In 2008, she released her second album, Birthday of Bless You, on Not Not Fun. In mid-2009, her collaboration with Heavy Winged, Ring Mining, was also released on Not Not Fun.
October 2009 will see the release of her new album, Silver Sea Surfer School, on Not Not Fun.
She has a number of split releases with various artists, including Grouper, Axolotl and Secret Abuse.
Eva has recently recorded a dub-influenced album with Portland musicians Honey Owens and Adam Forkner. The project is titled We Like Cats.
