Isabelle A
On 25 May 1975 Isabelle Adam aka Isabelle A was born in Gent. When she turned twelve, she was discovered by music producer Marc Van Beveren during a brio game. He decided to use the song 'On my own' from the Greek singer Nicca Costa, a song which took her to the highest places of the soundmixcircuit. In October 1987 she had her first solosingle, ' the Troika ' entitled. At the BRT, Belgium's national TV broadcast, Isabelle had already been notable. She presented 'TV tam tam', interviewed other young people, sang the intro for the show and also sang Dutch-speaking topic-tied songs. In 1990, still very young, Isabelle had her break trough. with her first big hit ' hé lekker beest ', which stood for nine weeks at the number 1 position in the music charts which was enough for platinum. Her second hit, 'ik weet wat ik wil', released in 1991, obtained gold. Isabelle's debut-CD 'Isabelle A' obtained platinum. In 1992 the album 'Zeventien' was released. Isabelle then released 'Interactve' with Theresa Platteau and Prince Far Out. She released the single ' Slam' in 1994. Read more on Last.fm.
