JYONGRI
JYONGRI / ジョンリ、 (born August 30, 1988 in Osaka) is a Japanese J-Pop singer of Korean ancestry currently signed with TOSHIBA-EMI. Her debut single "Possession" / "My All For You" was released December 13, 2006.
Jyongri attended Osaka International School, and is fluent in both English and Japanese. She began learning to play the piano at the age of eight. In 2004, when she was 15 years old, she attended a 5 week long summer program at the Berklee College of Music.
She released her second single, "Hop, Step, Jump!", on February 21, 2007. Her first album, Close to Fantasy, was released on March 21, 2007.
On 6th April 2007, Square-Enix announced that Jyongri will be singing the theme song, "Lullaby For You", for the Nintendo DS game "It's a Wonderful World".
