Joe Banfi
Joe Banfi (born November 1989) is a British singer/songwriter from Northwich, Cheshire. Two albums that made a clear mark on the way he writes music are Deftones' "White Pony" and Nick Drake's "Five Leaves Left": the result is a strange, organic depth that both weighs you down and lifts you up simultaneously. In April 2012, he released "Olive Green" on 'Communion: New Faces' with Communion Records, the brainchild of musicians Ben Lovett (Mumford and Sons), Kevin Jones, and producer Ian Grimble. He is currently recording with the label for an EP release later this year (2012).
