Johnny Hess
Although born in Switzerland, Johnny Hess is best known as a singer and pianist who was part of the French swing movement in the 1930s and 1940s. In the early 1930s, he performed with Charles Trenet. According to some, he is the inventor of the term" Zazou" which was applied to the French "swing kids" of the 1940s. He was born in 1915 in Switzerland and died in the 1980s. Read more on Last.fm.
