Josh Vietti
'Refreshingly innovative' is one way to characterize the music of Pop Violinist Josh Vietti. Classically trained since the age of four, he is now taking on the world of pop music. Josh's material is new, virtuosic and yet accessible, ultimately satisfying one's musical palette.
Josh is influenced by artists such as Itzhak Perlman, Joshua Bell and Vanessa Mae. Some of Josh’s favorite composers consist of Bach, Mozart and Vivaldi. Josh’s performances are packed with high energy, charm and seductive sounds that leave audiences in a state of euphoric bliss.
He has performed at venues such as the Sydney Opera House, the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, the Roxy, the Whisky a Go-Go and many more acclaimed venues in the United States and abroad. Josh has worked with the Pacific Symphony, hip-hop artist's J-Peso & Chief Wakil, pop singer/multi-platinum songwriter Andre Merritt (Dre), multi-platinum producer Brian Kennedy, Natasha Bedingfield and Brandy. Josh has also recorded with multi-platinum producer T-Wiz, multi-platinum pop singer Chris Brown and has confirmed with Brian Kennedy that it will be featured on an upcoming single.
Josh was also featured in the newspaper publication the Santa Monica Mirror (Vol. 9, Issue 40, March 13-19 2008) in the Life and Arts section in an article by journalist Liz Ohanesian with the title Artist Spotlight: "Pop Violinist" Josh Vietti. Josh also had the privilege to appear as a guest on "CU@USC", the premier interview show on the Trojan Vision Television network at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles on April 7, 2008.
