Kawabe Chieco
Kawabe Chieco (河辺千恵子), born February 24th 1987, is a Japanese singer, model, and actress. At the age of 12 she played the role of Mizuno Ami in the 'Sailor Moon' musicals. She began in 2000, and performed until 2002. She also appeared in the live-action 'Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon' series as Tsukino Usagi's best friend Osaka Naru.
Chieco debuted as a singer in 2004 with the single 'be your girl'. The title track was the ending theme to the anime 'Elfen Lied', and the b-side, 'Hoshi ni Negai Wo', was the ending theme of 'Otogizoushi'. The single was was successful. Chieco thereafter released a few more singles, and on March 25th, 2005, Chieco released her first album, 'brilliance'.
Chieco's cover of 'I Can't Wait', included on the 'Kizunairo' single as well as on 'brilliance', was the theme song to the Japanese dub of 'Lizzie McGuire'.
