Keepsake Summer
Formed in 'Panama City', Florida in the late 1990's, 'Keepsake Summer' was a three-piece rock band Lee, Jared, and Jason (NOT LANCASTER)
It seems like people still confuse Keepsake Summer with Mayday Parade. Lee Denham, the bassist for Keepsake Summer, was in a band called Second Rate with Jason Lancaster of Go Radio. (You can check out their song Jodie on my Youtube.) After they broke up Jason went on to other projects, eventually joining/forming Mayday Parade. Before they chose a name for the band, Jason uploaded the song "When I Get Home, You're So Dead" to the internet under the band name Keepsake Summer. Then, they chose the name Mayday Parade. Lee then asked Jason to use the band name Keepsake Summer(Since he no longer needed it). That is the only way this band is connected with Mayday Parade. Read more on Last.fm.
