Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets
Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets (岸田教団&The明星ロケッツ) is a Japanese rock band formed in 2004 under the name Kishida Kyoudan and consisting of only instrumentalists. They made their debut in 2005 with the album SUPERNOVA. The band released their first five albums under the name Kishida Kyoudan before they changed their name to Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets in 2008. In 2007, female vocalist ichigo was added to the lineup.
The band makes both Touhou arrangements and original songs. They are also well known for making the opening theme song for the anime HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD.
