Klaus Doldinger & Giorgio Moroder
Klaus Doldinger & Giorgio Moroder teamed up in 1984 for the score for the motion picture The NeverEnding Story. Limahl with Beth Anderson on English version (Limahl and Ann Calvert on the French version) scored a big hit with the title-track of the film. The German version of the album only has the orchestral score for the film without this single.
Klaus Doldinger is a German saxophonist, especially well-known for jazz and as a composer of film music. Besides The NeverEnding Story he's also known for his scores to the acclaimed German U-Boat film “Das Boot”.
Giorgio Moroder has worked on the soundtracks of other motion pictures: Midnight Express, American Gigolo, Cat people and Battlestar Galactica. But ofcourse he is most known as the driving force behind disco queen Donna Summer as well as many other from the disco era. See his own artist profile page for more details. Read more on Last.fm.
