Kury
Kury (Hens) is a Polish yass band formed in June 1992 by Tymon Tymański. The original line-up was Tymon Tymański (bass and vocals), Jacek Olter (drums) and Piotr Pawlak (guitar). Kury have also cooperated with Mazzoll, Kuba Staruszkiewicz, Jacek Stromski, Anna Lasocka and DJ Scissorkicks (the album "100 lat undergroundu"). In 1998 Kury recorded the appraised album "P.O.L.O.V.I.R.U.S." (Frederyk Prize winner), regarded by critics as one of the most important Polish albums of the 90's. After Olter's suicide in January 2001 Kury continued their activity for a short period, but in 2002 they have stopped playing, only to return in December 2003 with a farewell tour. After the split some of Kury's tracks are still being played by the new band of Tymon Tymański: Tymon & Transistors. Read more on Last.fm.
