Lapsed
Jason Stevens of Lapsed holes himself up like an intoxicated little grumpy hibernating bear-man for months at a time, only to pound out a few damn good tracks to decimate your ears. His tracks drop like dirty-bombs on Saturn and make you feel the rain and thunder grinding in your viking bones as the atmospheric dark melodies wind around your head like the cigarette smoke from the hipster bitches standing next to you. With deep resonating sounds, razor sharp clicks, cuts, glitches and intricate rhythms, Lapsed will continue to give you that feeling you get when you stay up past four a.m. on a whiskey and absinthe binge.
Since Lapsed's inception, he's gone on to play multiple festivals and dozens of shows, as well as a tour with label mates, Larvae. The critically acclaimed debut "Twilight" was released on Ad Noiseam in 2004, the follow up self titled album "Lapsed" was released on Ad Noiseam in 2005. In 2007, he joined forces with mega producer nonnon (Dave Madden) for the slept-on Ad Noiseam release "The Death of Convenience". A new, yet to be titled album is in the works, and demos are currently on soundcloud/lapsed.
Lapsed resides in Salt Lake City, where he continues to write music, as well as play live with the industrial band Lexincrypt. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
