Little Jerry Williams was a soul singer in the 60's whose stage moniker later changed to Swamp Dogg by the early 70's when he experimented with arrangements that would blend funk, country and rap. He navigated the realms of publishing & label ownership, wrote 100's of songs and produced many other artists over the years including Gene Pitney, Doris Duke, Patti LaBelle, Z.Z Hill and Kid Rock.
