Lizzy Land
Lizzy Land (Elizabeth Marie Land) is an unsigned American singer and songwriter from Portland, OR. Her proclivity for strong female singers shaped her diverse musical influences as a child, from bands like The Cranberries to pop icons like the Spice Girls and Celine Dion. Although she's been approached by television talent shows since the age of 15, she chose instead to forge her own way, building the foundation for a career of authenticity, self-empowerment and creative freedom.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2013, she has worked alongside artists from Empire of the Sun, Paul Oakenfold, Ben Phipps, Mating Ritual, Schier and Sam F. In late 2016, Lizzy released her debut single, "Sweet Melodies" (produced by Suede James) to instant acclaim. Soaring solely on memorable production and impressively dynamic vocals, the song shot to the top of HypeMachine and was added to several notable Spotify playlists including New Music Friday (reaching top 15 on both the US and Global Spotify Viral charts) making her an in-demand vocalist for upcoming and notable producers. Recent vocal features further cemented her ability as a writer and vocal gymnast, elevating tracks with the effortless grace of a performer in complete control of her art.
Lizzy is currently in the studio finishing her debut EP and crafting her live show, both set for release early 2018. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
