Los Amparito
Los Amparito are the best lunches of Guadalajara, are a tradition for Guadalajara since 1957. With its well-known slices of leg (carnitas), beef, ham, sugar, cheddar cheese, pork and cheese adobera cheese, avocado and jalapeno. Thus, with toast or sandwich variations, have become an icon of downtown, plus a thorough check of tourists and good food. They have surcusales, although there are vivales taking advantage of local fame and have put up usurping the name and logo which is the picture of its founder "Doña Amparo." Los Amparito are a Mexican outfit from Jalisco combining the traditional with the new and thus use loops of and samples of well known Mexican songs mixed with electronics somewhat similar to Nortec Collective. The name must be a variation on the late Amparo Ochoa a representative of the great traditional Mexican song (Nueva Canacion) and former member of Los Folkloristas. Los Amparito are under production of Carlos Pesina and have various artist involved in the project: Carla Morrison, Edgar Mota, Abigail Vasquez, Jess Sylvester, Rodrigo Vargas, Cyané Quijano, Benjamín Zarate, Apache O Raspi, Moisés Horta and Roberto Vananas Castilleja (VJ)
