Love Generation
Love Generation is a girl group from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 2010 by producer RedOne, together with Peter Swartling and Jonas Johnson from Legend Music Group. Love Generation consists of three girls; Charly Q, Cornelia and Melanie.
Love Generation is the spokeperson for LG Electronics in Sweden, which means that the band will promote several products from LG. Thus, their debut single, entitled "Love Generation" which was released in summer 2010, featured in a Swedish LG commercial, promoting mobile phone LG Viewty GT400.
Love Generation performed their 2nd single "Good Times" on July 16, 2010 at Ambassadeur in Stockholm. In December 2010, Love Generation was announced as one of the contestants for Melodifestivalen 2011. Their song "Dance Alone" is written and produced by RedOne. However, they did not make it to the final.
Love Generation participated in Melodifestivalen 2012, a music festival that chooses the Swedish entry to Eurovision Song Contest. But they could be the sixth and eliminated. And group was divided in 2012
Since summer 2012, they've changed their band name to Stockholm Syndrome. They've also left their record label Universal Music to become independed. With their new name and their independecy, they'll focus on composing their own songs in the genre house. First single will be out in Summer 2012.
