Lucía Pérez
Lucía Pérez Vizcaíno (born on 5 July 1985 in O Incio, Lugo, Spain) is a Spanish singer who represents Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with her entry "Que Me Quiten Lo Bailao".
From an early age, her artistic abilities were evident, leading her to participate in numerous TV programs for children, competitions and music festivals, and resulting in winning several times.
In 2002, at 17, Lucía Pérez won the talent show for amateur singers "Canteira de Cantareiros", on the regional Galician television (TVG), which aimed in discovering young talent. A year later she published her first album, "Amores y amores".
In early 2003, she released "Amores y Amores", produced by Chema Puron and Felix Cebreiro. Songs like "Nada Me Falta, Nada Me Sobra”, “Se Eu Non Son” and “Amores y Amores" began to become popular among her followers.
In the spring of 2005 her career was supported by winning her first award for "Disco-Pop de Solistas Gallegos".
The released of her second album, "El Tiempo Dirá…" produced again by Chema Puron and Felix Cebreiro coincides with her participation to represent Spain at the Festival de Viña del Mar with the song "Que Haría Contigo", which was held in the Chile in February 2006. In 2009 she took part in the Viña del Mar Festival for a second time.
On 18 February 2011, she was chosen to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with "Que Me Quiten Lo Bailao", after passing the auditions in Barcelona and becoming the public favorite at the gala screening of Destino Eurovision of TVE.
In March 2011, following her election as the Spanish Eurovision entrant, Lucía was signed to Warner Music with the idea of releasing an album in April 2011.
