Margaret Berger
Margaret Berger (born 11 October 1985 in Trondheim, Norway) is an electropop singer and songwriter.
She grew up in Hitra, Norway. She studied music at Heimdal VideregÄende (High School). She entered Norwegian Idol in 2004, and became the underdog who barely survived week after week. At the end she ended up second. A little later, she got a record deal, and released her first album, "Chameleon", late 2004. She had one big hit from this record ("Lifetime Guarantee") and two minor radio hits ("Mind Game" and "This is Perfect"). She spent 2005 touring festivals and schools as a part in a huge cultural project for students and kids in Trondheim and writing songs for her new album.
In the summer of 2006 she returned with the song "Samantha", which bacame a huge hit in Norway. The following single was "Will You Remember me Tomorrow". Her second album "Pretty Scary Silver Fairy" was released October 2nd 2006 to great critical acclaim.
In February 2013, she ended up being the Norwegian representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2013, after wining the Melodi Grand Prix, the Norwegian pre-selection. Berger represented Norway in Malmö, Sweden, and finished at number four with the song I Feed You My Love. Read more on Last.fm.
