Minicoolboyz
Born in 1984, Mike and Raphael discovered electronic music in 2000.
They began following italian nightlife and participating in the most important european festivals such as "I Love Techno" in Belgium and
"Timewarp" in Germany. During those travels abroad they discovered the magical feeling between Djs and the crowd.
Growing up, they began to appreciate new sounds, expecially for the ones created by the techno guru Richie Hawtin, aka Plastikman.
Mike and Raphael changed deeply their musical tastes: their current style is a minimal techno music with with detroit and tech-house
influences. Thanks to their attitudes, Mike and Raphael managed to play in differents important clubs in Italy.
Mike and Raphael play their sets with a mix of common and new hardwares for the best sound possible: drum machine, FX and Traktor
Scratch technology, creating a perfect mix between a classical Djset and a computer-based Liveset.
In 2006 a new project appeared: MINICOOLBOYZ www.myspace.com/minicoolboyz . Mike and Raphael began playing back2back,
trying to find out new sounds and styles, ranging between acid sounds and the hardest grooves.
Start Their carreer in various italian clubs's and their first tracks immediatly received great feedbacks from italian and international Dj's.
Minicoolboyz’s Tracks arriving at the top on Beatport ‘s Chart (www.beatport.com), the portal for more MP3 download 'famous in the
world and this tracks are played by the best DJs on the world stage.
In October 2008, Richie Hawtin choose one of their remix for the CD "Sounds from Can Elles" distributed with the magazine DJ Mag
and after him out on his Label "Minus" (www.m-nus.com/can_elles)"Varese ist leer" is the crack of the album and sold for a long time
remains in the Top Ten most requested Techno song .
2009 and definitely , the year of leading MiniCoolBoyz ... all Top Dj of panorama Techno Tech House play their Tracks ... among the
most 'important Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna begin_of_the_skype_highlightingend_of_the_skype_highlighting, Joris Voorn and many others including
Later Beatport calls them "Richie Hawtin’s Prodigies "
